Volunteer Opportunities
Hands-on stewardship is at the heart of our conservation work.
Trail Stewardship Workdays
Help maintain trails, install erosion controls, and keep access routes safe while minimizing impact to sensitive habitats.
Habitat Restoration
Participate in native plantings, invasive species removal, and riparian buffer restoration along Little Osage Creek and its spring-fed tributaries.
Site Cleanup & Monitoring
Join litter cleanup events and assist with basic site monitoring to support watershed health documentation.
What Stewardship Means Here
Stewardship at Healing Springs Natural Area means caring for a public natural area with respect for its ecological sensitivity and the authority of managing agencies. Volunteers work under organizational guidance and in coordination with approved activities.
No experience is required for most workdays. We provide orientation, safety briefings, and tools. What we ask is a willingness to learn, follow guidance, and treat this place with care.
